ah yes, those of you who are in the loop, you would have known that i’ve found a job!

 

i’m now an editorial intern at xxx magazine, and although the pay (as usual) is meagre, this internship would do hell lots for my resume and portfolio.

 

i’ve been through two days of work, and the first piece of work assigned was a review on watches.

for someone like me who doesn’t wear watches, heck, i don’t even own one, writing about the brilliant color of the mainplate and the beveled bridges is pretty damn hard.

 

oh well, i hope more work will come my way soon! i’ll also be attending the heineken green room party next friday on behalf of the magazine so those who are going, say hi hor!

 

my editors are a bunch of niceties, one of them stays around my area so he sends me to work everyday. emoticon

 

a couple of the barflies also work in the same building so lunch kakhis are settled!

 

other matters forthcoming, salsa hiphop classes have also commenced and boy, are they tiring.

although the boyfriend very confidently told me, "aiya, first class won’t sweat one lah", he was DEAD WRONG.

 

yenny, our dance instructor taught us hiphop in the first lesson and it was one whole hour of panting, perspiring and trying to coordinate the hand and leg movements without looking like a lost chicken.

 

the boyfriend and me are going to practise the moves during our free time so we can own the others’ asses!

 

so yes, work is good, dance is good, money is good (though i can always do with more).

 

the only grouse i have is that i seem to be putting on weight from planting my ass continuously in the office and not moving about.

 

definitely not going to help when i attend the magazine’s launch party next week and see all the skinny models in front of me. ARGH. emoticon
