with just about a month to the big 2-0, i guess this entry is well due!

this year, my birthday will fall on a saturday, and while i’ve requested for the mum to postpone my tuition lessons so i’ll have one full day for celebrations, it’s still gonna be a tight squeeze should my family decide to hold celebrations, my friends (*ahem* hint hint) as well as the boyfriend.

not to mention, june 27th will also be me and the boyfriend’s anniversary!

yes! i can’t believe we’ve gone so far, defied all odds (and gravity, for the boyfriend at least. ), and emerged still strong and very much loving.

anyway’s, here’s the list in no particular order!

happy 20th to me, happy anniversary to the boyfriend and happy spending to all of you!  

and so i spent xmas entirely with the boyfriend:

- watching ip man (donnie yen is so cute!)

- shopping at far east (awesome fab shoes for 20 bucks! plus the bf bought me a belt! MWAH!)

- exchanging cars with uncle jay (where i met daniel, my ex-supervisor at uncle jay’s party. how coincidental is that you tell me!) 

- dinner at new york new york in ang mo kio hub (weird place i know but everywhere else was too crowded)

- getting chatted up by a cleaning auntie in the toilet where she accused me of being a spitland-nese again

- heading to PLAY and crashing the lesbian party there

it was my first time being at a pub where lesbians are galore! but honestly, looking at them in their various getups, i would rather much prefer my man; stubble, leg hair, beer belly and all.

i mean, how much fun can you get out of being lesbian? (fun here being diirtttyy fun)

anyway, this is my personal opinion, please feel free to prove me wrong. i don’t think the bf will mind another female’s company!

i think the reason why i haven’t been blogging, is simply cause i’m contented with life.

the school projects are coming along fine, the schoolmates are a crazy bunch, the boyfriend is a sweetie pie as usual, noel has been accepted into the gang of cats at kyle’s place, and i occasionally feel skinny.

so, i’ve devised a plan to prevent my blog from drying up.

whenever i run out of blog fodder, i’ll post up a picture which paints how i’m feeling that particular day, and perhaps a couple of sentences to go along.  (see shy, you want pictures right? i give you pictures! )

it sure does seem like the entrepreneurship bug has made its way around cause three of the barflies have gotten around to setting up their blogshops!

as for mr. metrosexual chuwen (aye, you still owe me a shopping trip!) and his partner in crime, dzigna, they’ve also set up Style Damsel, where everything you see is made from scratch, and painstakingly chosen and designed by the very talented dzigna.

of course, i will get my ass down to buying stuff from both shops, when i’m not that broke that is.  

i know, this entry sounds weird.

well, it’s my first time plugging!  

i went to catch license to wed with the girls today.

it was an okay show, a little cliche, but some of the jokes were funny.

 a particularly amusing scene was where the male lead had to play a game with the relatives of his fiancee.

he was made to describe each of his in-laws with a word, and the results were hilarious, because what started off as a friendly exchange evolved to one where nasty comments were thrown.

when us girls made our way to far east to shop, we decided to play that game too.

i was up first. shyanne was described to be fierce, kim to be meek, and thiang well, confused.

shyanne said i was eccentric and kim lovable. she had trouble describing thiang so i decided to help her out a little.

in the end, thiang was said to be very confused.  

kim thought i was unpredictable, shy independent and well, she had trouble with thiang too.

funny how everyone has trouble with thiang huh? 

i decided to be kind once again, and we finally decided thiang was very, very confused.

wahahaha.

then it was thiang’s turn. she said shyanne was passionate, kim vulnerable and then when it was her turn to describe me, she hesitated.

then, all three of them quipped that i was busty.

walao! see lah, i made the effort to describe each one of them accurately, and all they can think about when they see me is "busty."

but well, it was fun while it lasted.
